foils tend to be a lot brighter and more vibrant, in my opinion. They are backed with black, while IS (or other dichro) are generally backed with a deep blue. There aren't as many colors in foils, but they are better quality (IMO). If you want some IS dichro, get your hands on some now! they are discontinuing all their glass.

They have discontinued it, a couple of months ago as far as I know. Not sure why, but I'm pretty sure all of their glass stock has gone now. What's on BAF, AnotherHole, Wildcat & diversityaz (and possibly a few more places?) is all that's left.

Foils are dichro! Heh. It's just what GWS calls their dichro plugs. I agree with saspi - tend to be better quality from what I've seen.

Crystal is when the colour is at the back of the plug, regular is when it's at the front :) All GWS are the 'crystal' style - all of their foil is at the back.

Well, unless there are any other companies making 'foil' plugs, heh. GlasswearStudios foil is just dichro through.

yeah, i prob. should have clarified that. Foils is just the name that GWS has for their dichro line. :)
