probably the dumbest question ever.

I tried to stretch up to a 10g with a steel taper, I stopped half way through with resistance and within 20 minutes I easily could take all of it. I tried to follow it with the jewelry I bought to stretch with (all the way up to a 4 I bought) which are these.. Read more... )

I personally find tunnels and especially threaded ones like those very hard to get in after a stretch. All the ones I've got are ridiculously short too =/

You were at 12g before, right? How long had you been there? You said you've had the piercings for 2 months now...if you mean they were actually DONE 2 months ago it's way too soon to stretch =/

My piercer told me I could probably stretch up after 2 months?

How long should I wait you think? I was only stretching my right, it hasn't been sore at all for weeks.

5-6 months tends to be recommended.

Perhaps I still have time to send the 8 and 4's I bought.

Thanks alot, I will most def. look into getting something more like the ones you showed.

i wouldn't go for the blemished glassware plugs for an initial stretch just because there is a possibility that they're off in size.

you're ear may be catching on the threads. if that makes sense. i've never tried to stretch with threaded tunnels but i know that plugs with o-ring groves tend to be difficult as do any kind of tunnel really. in my experience any plugs with rounded ends work best. such as...

To answer your second, question, tapers are not supposed to be worn as jewelry. They'll just agitate your ears.

I'm not sure if you already bought the tapers for the next sizes, but I love these kits. You save some money too, if you're going to buy a lot of them.

I already bought them, but I wish I would have bought those kits instead :)
