Touching Base
I haven't been on in a while. I feel like since the last time I have been, I've grown up a bit. On the other hand, I haven't really grown, because the problems I had before are still my problems. I'm just better at dancing around them. But I have taken some measures that will help me solve them. And hopefully, that will make all the difference. -
Confusion
So yeah. Accepted everywhere. Took one offer, did the tour thing, scheduled classes even, and then decided to take a one-eighty back the way I came. So now, I'm supposed to be a future student as this other university with a totally unrelated discipline whose account doesn't work. A couple months back
I started listening to Florence and the Machine seriously and I loved her. I love her music and her lyrics. I think my favourite right now is Birdsong. My first favourite of hers was Cosmic Love, then I heard Dog Days Are Over and got obsessed. When you sing along, it just feels so uplifting, especially if you belt out the chorus. So yeah, redid NLS, passed. Woot. Went to driving school, passed. Double woot. (Not that that requires any effort whatsoever). I still need to have at least ten hours of driving experience before I can get the certificate and I've totally been procrastinating that. Hate not being in control
I really hate how liking someone is so all-encompassing. At least for me, it is. I can't help but look at him like every second, I can't stop thinking about his voice and I look for him whenever I enter a room. Okay, yeah. I get so easily obsessed and I absolutely hate that.
