Okay, I'm not sure exactly what you're after, but you asked for it. If you were just talking about the general beliefs of Christianity, I don't really have an opinion. All I can talk about is the actions that some Christians take and how I feel about that

i think people just rot in the ground when they die. i'm completely scared of this, but i believe it's true. i think people just try to make this easier by believing in something beyond that. this makes me jealous that they have comfort.
I'm somewhere between Christian and lapsed. I am not actively religious, I am not actively seeking out a church, I am so far from evangelical it isn't even funny, I am very uncomfortable with a lot of the language that many Christians use in regard to women but especially relationships. I am not ok with servitude

I was raised Roman Catholic and I still find a lot of the traditions (on the really kick-ass mass days, like Easter or Christmas) to be comforting, but I think that's more nostalgia than anything. I fell away from the church because I couldn't (and still don't) understand how something that teaches that love is the most important thing in the world would be anti-gay marriage and have so little understanding for people going through abortions, etc. And then there's the problem of the position of women in the church...The church refuses to be in touch with the times, and I see it as a result of politics at the high levels of church leadership. It's a little disgusting and too frustrating to deal with in my opinion

My religion is between me and God, not me and you and God.
