"Jay!" Sungmin cried it out, running to his fallen fellow hunter. Taemin stood back, watching Sungmin check Jay for wounds. He spoke into his walkie talkie, telling Jungmo, "He's unconscious."

Inside, Jungmo immediately dropped the key he was working on. "Who keeps keys like this?"

"Key." Onew said, grinning.

Minho raised a brow at him.

"Work on it." Jungmo told Minho, getting up and rushing out of the room.

Minho picked up a key, scooting closer to Onew on the bed once again. "Is this all your blood?" he asked, in a tone that suggested he wasn't sure he wanted to know. Onew wasn't about to tell him anyway. He frowned, and said, "We need to hurry. Key and Jonghyun could be back..."

"Jonghyun is in the trunk of their car." Minho said, "You don't have to worry about him."

Onew scowled, "Are they going to kill him?"

".. I guess so. They didn't say. I don't really get the vampire hunter thing yet. I just met them.. tonight.."

"I'll complain about them later," Onew said. "We need to get out of here. Even if Jonghyun is out of the way, I'm sure Key will be around. Find something to break the headboard with. The keys aren't gonna work."

Minho nodded and climbed off the bed, moving to the dresser to begin his search for something useful.

Jungmo lightly tapped against Jay's face, calling his name. Sungmin shook his head, "I think it's a concussion. We should take him to a hospital."

"But we don't have a car," Taemin said, "And we can't leave Noodle and Minho.."

"We'll have to call for an ambulance, but we have to at least carry him down the street. We don't want to draw attention here." Jungmo sighed, "I think I can carry him by myself, so you two hurry and get that vampire out."

Sungmin and Taemin nodded, though Taemin's was with quite a bit more nervousness. He honestly had kind of liked the idea of getting away from the house of Key.

Jungmo bent down, and told Sungmin, "Help get him on my back."

As he did, Taemin stepped back inside to explain the situation to Minho and Onew.

Minho had begun lightly hammering the bar of the headboard that Onew was chained to. As Taemin walked in, Onew was snatching it from him, to do it a lot less fearfully. "No luck with keys?" Taemin asked, nervous.

"On the plus side, if Key comes near me I can beat his head in." Onew said, continuing to hammer at the bar.

"Is Jay okay?" Minho asked.

Taemin shook his head, "Unconscious. We don't know what happened, but he's out and the car is gone. Jungmo is going to move him and then call an ambulance."

"Wasn't Jonghyun in the car?" Onew asked with a scowl.

"What would Jonghyun want with that car?" Minho asked.

"He was probably scared of us." Taemin said with a proud smile. "He just ran away as fast as he could."

Onew stopped hammering to glare at Taemin, "Stop being a hunter."

"Stop murdering people." Taemin said, crossing his arms.

Onew blinked, obviously caught off guard by the come back, but then he scowled again and said, "We'll talk later." before he went back to banging on the bar.

"Try breaking the chain instead." Minho suggested.

Onew's expression said, "how dare you try to help me".

Sungmin stepped into the room, huffing. "Nothing yet?"

"Not yet." Taemin said.

"Step on it." Sungmin quickly replied. "Key is coming. I recognized the car. Jungmo is on his way back."

"Hold the chain." Onew directed Minho, as he situated the chain tightly across the bars. Minho held it there obediently, and Onew started banging like crazy. Sungmin left the room to try to find something better. Taemin, well, was just frozen, or his body was. His heart was beating, unreasonably fast.

"This isn't working." Onew growled. He kept banging, but told Minho, "You need to go. He can't catch you here."

"I can't leave you." Minho said.

"I need you to be safe a lot more than I need me to be safe." was Onew's response. He kept bringing the hammer down. The clanging was head-ache inducing.

"I wasn't safe at all, without you." Minho said. "And I had these dreams. Where you were human."

"What?" Onew asked.

"Every time I had them, I felt so close to you. And when I woke up, I felt so far away that it was sickening."

Onew paused hammering, looking worriedly at Minho. Minho had tears in his eyes, and was staring at the chain angrily. "I hate these feelings." he said, "I hate being so dependant on you too. But I am."

They could hear the distant sound of a door opening, and then Key's yell filled the house. "Jonghyun! Are you home?" There was a loud thump, and they could hear a female sobbing.

Taemin shook, and slowly reached into his pocket.

Key's footsteps were quick, and Minho cringed with each one, feeling panicked. A short girl was in the room first, pretty with long thick hair and a skinny neck that Key's hand was wrapped around to guide her. "Oh." Key said when he spotted Minho, and then he smiled. "You must have come with that hunter outside."

"Jungmo?" Minho questioned, quietly.

Taemin took a step back, and Key looked to him. "No, don't move, or I'll kill her."

There was just a moment of pause before Key smirked, "I said not to move."

He twisted the girl's neck, and she was dead just like that, making Taemin scream horribly, and Minho yelled, "No!"

Onew remained on the bed, panicking because he knew that girl would have died anyway, and because he knew if Minho was caught he'd be shown the tape that he had murdered in, and he knew that the "hate" Minho had for his feelings would become so much more and..

Key turned around, and Sungmin was there with a dagger he'd found. He swung it with a yell, and Key caught his arm, twisting it around and forcing Sungmin in front of him, so he could see the dead girl on the floor. "Look what you did." Key said with a sigh, "You killed her."

Sungmin yelled again, and Minho knew he must have had amazing strength then, because he broke out of Key's grip and swung the dagger once again. However, Key caught his arm again, and this time he bent it in a direction it just shouldn't have bent in, with a horrible cracking sound that Minho hated he could recognize as the breaking of bones. Sungmin screamed, and fell to the floor, the dagger inches from his hand.

Key stepped on his palm as he bent down to pick it up. "Ah," he said, "You've been going through my things. You're gonna have to pay for that."

Taemin pulled a switchblade from his pocket, shaking as he did so. "Get.. away from him.." he said with a weak voice. Onew scoffed at the patheticness, but Minho was stiff with horror.

"You." Key said, turning to Taemin and walking over. "That scar I put on your face is gone. I should make a new one, right?"

"Run, Minho." Onew said quickly.

"But Taemin--"

"Run!" Taemin yelled, flipping out his blade and holding it out threateningly. Key rolled his eyes, and as Minho just began to run forward, he turned around and caught him by the sleeve of his shirt. "This is just sad." Key said with a laugh. "I mean, really." Key threw Minho at the wall, and he hit it hard before he fell to the floor. "What kind of hunters are you? It must be hard for you. Here and dying on a failed mission to save, of all things, a vampire."

Onew threw the hammer at him with an angry growl, but it just hit the wall next to his head and left a hole. Apparently, Key didn't care. "Usually, I'd make you horribly sorry for that, Onew. Lucky I'm having a good day, right? I mean, three hunters and the bonded of my enemy.."

Taemin moved forward, but he was too slow and too nervous. Key grabbed his hand that held the switchblade, and held it gently even, as an adult would hold the hand of a child. "Hey.." Key said, softly. "Wasn't I supposed to cut your eye out?"

Taemin screamed, as if Key's words had been a physical attack, and he pulled his hand away - dropping his blade on the floor just before he fell down, sitting by Minho on the floor.

A sudden noise pulled Key's attention to the doorway, and he turned, just in time to see Jungmo's gun before it shot him through the head. Key fell, unconscious, on top of Minho.

".. Sorry." Jungmo told Minho.

Minho looked wide-eyed at the man, who seemed to be bleeding from the mouth, and intelligently said, "... Uh-huh."
