Pippi was short sheeting the cots in a large multi person tent.

"This is like taking candy from a baby." she said quietly. "Only I don't feel bad at all."

It was a Glock.

Not something you normally see in 1917.

"This gun isn't from 1917 or earlier. It's from quite a bit later." Pippi explained holding it up for him to see. "It's from like... My time. Well... maybe a little less from when I actually came from, but not by much."

"When they were trying to use that nasty machine on my head the scientist guy said that they didn't take people from later then 1917 because... Well, I don't recall but it was a good reason, I remember that much... So something's changed... Does it have anything to do with us I wonder?" She mused. "Hmmm, we may have to change our plans just a smidge."

"The others made for the old camp leaving a bit of a trail, hopefully not very obvious... I was thinking it would make the bad guys think they were getting somewhere to think we cleared out in a panic... But now, I think I kinda want to see who it is they'd send to follow us..."

She tossed the gun back into the footlocker.

"Let's grab some more stuff and head out. I want to try and see if we can get to the old camp before they do and we've lost a bit of time now."
