My word. Why you aren't running the board of directors at this point (or, as I like to call them, the BOD), I shall never know.

Besides, selections from that would have been more realistic than if you follow your dreams, nothing can stop you, &c.

Ah, that is exactly how I used to feel when we sent our interns back after their semester with us. Though I assume we abused them much more!
