So I pierced my nose, a move described as sexy (Grant) and badass (Liz) but which just makes me happy. The piercer laughed at me when I said this would qualify me as a wild child in my parent's eyes, which is doesnt actually. Its just happy.

Is it legal to postpone a birthday? To just wake up and say "no, i don't feel like turning 18 today. maybe next week." and send out little notes to every fucking person who is supposed to care about you that say something like ( Read more... )

I'm declaring today Opposable Thumb Appreciation Day- its nearly impossible to do anything useful w/out your thumbs. I have a newfound appreciation for my right thumb as I attempt to eat w/a fork, write, blow dry and straighten my hair, do buttons, open doors, and drive w/out it. OMG I am going to Brown!

my friends and i are only truly happy when we're doing something really stupid. today's happiness-bringing event was jumping into the pool. at night. in 30 degree weather, w/out a change of clothes nearby. it was insane (i'm still cold) and yet rather bonding. much fun. we also went to see Saw II, which was brilliant, in a twisted, insane way ( Read more... )
