Today the ceiling
Seb painted the ceiling today, a flat white called Cream Delight. We both did prep work, and then he started cutting in the orange: Juicy Cantaloupe.

Den/Kitchen Redecoration

Bees!
So the laundry room is finished, but what to do about the bees? I didn't want to kill them, so I did some internet searches and found a beekeeper named Emily Brown. She came out and put a foul smelling (to bees anyway) stick in the crevasse where they were trying to build a hive. They bailed, and began flying around the area. They didn't seem ( Read more... ) -

I painted the walls turquoise on Friday night, and the new washing machine was delivered on Saturday as promised. We'll be painting the doors soon, and then it will be done. TL inspects the new machine:

The Laundry Room
Seb heard about a program to replace old washing machines with new energy efficient models. He got up early, called in, and got a voucher. My washing machine was 25 years old, but still ran great.
