Curtain Rods
We found some great curtain rod ends that look like Victorian door knobs. Well, actually they were weren't curtain rod ends, we had to modify them a little bit.

Curtains in the kitchen
After painting the kitchen, it was time to put up the curtains in the nook. The nook is U shaped with windows opening onto the patio. I wanted to use copper tubing in a U shape. New A/C system!
My air handler is 20 years old, and the heat pump is 11 years old and needs a new motor, so we decided to replace the whole system and take advantage of the rebates for a more energy efficient system. Seb did extensive research and interviewed a slew of companies, and we hired ThermoCool. They are putting in the new system now ( Read more... ) -
