Woot! How're things?

Hoo.... lessee... in the past several months we bought a house, we celebrated our daughter's first birthday, and I'm busy with a longer-term costume/prop project that's been a few YEARS in the making (had to take a break when I was preggers/still nursing cause the adhesive is super carcinogenic and toxic and even though I typically wear protective gear including a respirator and some very expensive gloves designed specifically for the solvents involved, I didn't want to risk hurting the baby). So right now that project is driving me nuts at night (I'm missing my deadline and I'm desperate to finish the damn thing), and during the day I'm taking care of the most adorable, sweet little rugrat with a few special needs that I've ever seen or heard of. Learning to walk is still a LITTLE ways off, though we're working with her physical therapist on that... she's really close to being able to pull herself to standing... but she just learned to give hugs yesterday. :) Can we say "awwwww"? I'm kind of looking forward to her going to

Haha, my flight ended up getting delayed by 2 hours due to a maintenance problem that had us returning back to the gate from the runway. I didn't get back to LA until 2 a.m. Still recovering from DashCon. How are you? I heard you guys had fun on Monday! Thanks for accompanying me to the airport! It was awesome getting to spend some time with you.

Oh man, that sucks. I am so glad Mary Keith was staying the extra day, it really helped keep me away from PCD and online drama.
It was cool getting to hang, I feel like we've not done that in so long.
