Am I being unreasonable?
So being a grad student in theoretical physics, I try to have a bunch of relevant textbooks. Now, I don't know about others' habits, but when I use a textbook I never write in the book unless to correct an error or to clarify something; I take very good care of books---I don't even break the binding of paperbacks ( Read more... ) -
obnoxiously optimistic
Things are pretty good now. I recently finished a difficult calculation (lots of manipulations of special functions--Jacobi polynomials and hypergeometrics) and it seems to be right.
