According to the people I've talked to about it, it IS intended to be "practical". The Parkour example is a good one, actually. I mean, if you read the rest of the article.

I dunno. I'm all for cool new clothes, I just think this one needs to be thought out a little more.

I think it's a neat idea. I've found the idea of corsets being used (of course, in a fantasy sense, not real-world) as post-apocalyptic, fantasy, sci-fi, dark fantasy, etc, as fashion/armour an interesting idea.

It is just kinda sad that it doesn't look very well-made at all! one of the pictures on their website (which is a web designers nightmare) Looks like a black fredricks of hollywood corset with their straps just stitched on.

The costume was really cool, but I'm not sure about that corset, since I noticed the same thing the writers are talking about...NO corset is "fully flexible". Spiral bones are standard for any corset that isn't badly-made, with the exception of the front busk.
