I saw a documentary on forever21 slave labor.
Apparently they eat puppies and make their clothes out of orphan skin.

Pretty much everything from China is like that.

I think that's why I would say another way to save money/support other fashionistas during this hard time would be to get local clothes by local designers. My sisters friend makes clothing, and it's a good price for not coming from China.

The more of this journal I read, the easier it is to imagine you walking down the street, suddenly stiffly pointing at every objectionable fashion you see and shrieking like Donald Sutherland from Invasion of the Body Snatchers. You sound like the David Thorpe of alternative fashion, and that's not a compliment, offended above all by who are willing to look silly in order to have enjoy themselves.

Snark is a fine and age-old art, and I can't deny there's a gift for it here, but I still don't see any point in coming back and reading more.
