So I had the interview with the state yesterday. I think I did very well, we shall wait to see what they think though. I should if I got the job by Friday. I also got a call from OfficeMax today regarding a resume I sent them three weeks ago. They gave me a pre-interview over the telephone and said they would call back for an interview. Quite a fun day today. After bearing the OU football game traffic in front of the house for 2 hours, I did a little yard work. A word on football game traffic, if I may get ontop my soap box for a second. You are all excited about a game. I went to Express to be orientated for the York job. This meant watching an old safety video detailing what not to do at the workplace (don't taste the chemicals!). Then, the orienter guy was going through some basic stuff, and said that any information we need will "be located on the big board". It took everything I had not to laugh at that ( Read more... )

I have an interview with the State of Oklahoma on Monday. Whoo hoo! I'm pretty sure I can get it. I hope so anyways. I was up by 8:30 today for my thing at Express Personnel. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I managed to get up by 2pm today. Tomorrow I shall for 12:30. I ran some errands and went to Wal-Mart. It is that time of year to make my (not so) world famous beef stew.
