Your dream job brought this memory up: Back as a child I bought a scratch-away cheap lottery ticket - prizes were small things like chewing gum, toys, small amount of money, all that sounded great at that age. When I scratched it at home, I won... another lottery ticket. I redeemed it next day and then scratched off a new one... it was the same win. This one sister insisted that we scratch right there ... once again it was a lottery ticket. I think that was where we gave up. But it sure sounds like a possible endless circle.

I too like jigsaw less, but I prefer metal and wooden ones that you have to take apart and put back together. Or if it counts - escape rooms, the ones in real life.
