Pfeh. Show up at urgent care and pay for them to fix it right then and there. That's what I'd do. None of that "wait several months to see the doc" bullshit.
Incidentally that's why I rarely ever go to a doctor. Scheduling appointments is a bitch.
I rarely go to a doctor because I can't really stand being in sterile environments. And the appointments. And because I probably need to have another physical and don't really want to (been 2.5+ years since my last one.) Oh, and I don't like shots or medicine, and can't swollow pills. And the appointments. ^_^
Now I have to wake up in the morning and head over there at 8:30 to get seen. -sigh- I should just go barging over, but...
I don't mind sterile environments. I just don't get sick with things that require a doctor's attention. So the usual checkups and things like that get put off for months, which defeats the purpose of seeing a doctor in the first place.
The trick though is to mention blood in some level of quantity, that gets you elevated to a level of some importance. ;)
Well, they kept asking me if I was feeling pain...guess I should have said I was feeling pain. ^_^; And yeah, I'm the same way. The last physical I had was...either 2.5 or 3.5 years ago. -shrug- I just...don't like them anyway, and making it more trouble to get them only decreases my already low desire to get one...
