Once again I've gone a long time without updates. My life has been extremely busy lately. Who would have thought a baby is so time consuming. Every day I look forward to going home so that I can be with Lincoln. Hopefully I can update some pictures of him ( Read more... )

Well, Lincoln's eating right now and I have a few free minutes.

Actually Lincoln is currently very easygoing. He only wakes up once a night and sleeps for 4 hours before and after waking up in the middle of the night.

I haven't been updating the blog lately due to trying to get the baby's room finished. I am far enough to be happy before the baby comes. The only thing left is install the base and crown molding and put in all of the furnishings. I probably wont get the molding installed before the baby is born, but the room is functional without it. Christmas time has come and gone. I took two weeks of vacation off from work. Actually one week and 4 holiday days off with about 1 day of working at home to account for the full 2 weeks off ( Read more... )

Well, I finally finished putting up drywall in the bedroom. On Thanksgiving, the family came over and helped bring the drywall in the house and helped put it up in the utility room and finished one wall in the bedroom.

So the current project is fixing up the babys room. We already had fixed it up quickly to use as a guest room, but the walls were lathe and plaster and were coming apart. Also, we thought it would be nice to put a little insulation in the walls to let the baby be warm at night. Lastly, the room only had one outlet(on an odd side of the room, so an ( Read more... )
