Breathe 9 - Just Breathe - Part 2

Part 2 is under the cut, because LJ has crap posting limits.  Sorry!

SPACE IS FUN

Skandar missed his kids.  More than anything he missed his kids.  He’d spent a week in Fiji while William spent a week uninterrupted with the kids.  He talked to them each morning, so the boys would he was thinking of them.  He felt a smattering of guilt for leaving ( Read more... )

I'm not sure, but it looks as if your comment was cut off in the middle of a sentence?

got cut off. *sigh* damn skan, you had to go and be fair. I'll punch ooh face! there was no breathing invovled, just a lot of putting aside. Skan didn't try to deal with his relationship or figure out how he felt, he pushed it aside forgot about it and got ass, which as much as good release that is it doesn't solve the problems between them.
Good will got a taste of his how he treated skan on the lowest level, but skan is not a play boy. neither of them can be. they have kids. if you're in a marriage and things don't work out between you, you have to think of the kids first. It's not about you anymore but about making the best life for them. it's going to kill petey.
Will needs to be forgiving about all because despite skan's literal screw up, he's no man to start judging. And skan needs to grow up, acting like a child trying to get even. They're adults and they love and care about each other or at the very least their kids.
Love the story sub.

Thanks for your comment! I think there are many reasons why Skandar did what he did. But I don't know if I should get into why as that could potentially give away his intent. But let's just say on a subconscious level Skan was getting his own back, and then perhaps on an even deeper level, he knew he wouldn't be able to take William back unless he felt like they were equal. And deep down, maybe this was his way of making them that. It's obvious Skandar is acting out, now that he's been given a taste of freedom, but that will wear off pretty smartly when the 'Daddy' in him comes back again. Glad you'er enjoying the story. Thanks so much for commenting!

skan would want to feel that equality. I can get that. So basically it's like an after sex wake up call. all the pain and realization comes flooding back after you've made the mistake of your life. hmmmmm I like it.
*sigh*
wtf ever happened to jimmy? I had this terror riding in the back of my head, him pulling a al pachino with a little friend or something. bit dramatic but yeah.
part of me says will still needs to do something. where skan has always been the one holding everything together. will has to step up to the plate. like refuse the divorce. Skan never gave up on will even when he screwed up again, and again, and ......oh yeah...again. Will started stepping up to the plate, but it's time for him to be Poppa. There is such a reversal it's great.
LOVE THE ANNA AND SARAH BIT!!!! homaga it was fantastic. two thumbs way way up for your leading ladies.
is this a preview of maybe something else you're making in the works?
...
ok i'll stop before i pester you beyond repreve. Sub, you rock my socks off.
take care

I have no sweet clue how the frig I missed Chapter 8, but I had to go back and read all that before I could even start this. But I just cannot freakin' believe it. I cannot believe that Skandar slept with someone else.

And that someone else was a woman! I'm kind of freakin' shocked. I'm also (kind of) happy that Will knocked him on his ass. Skandar's getting annoying, I would've hit him too.

I think that I've officially given up the hope on the two of them getting back together, I have to say. Doesn't mean that I'm going to stop reading, 'cause now I'm sucked in and have to see how it all ends, and if I'm right or not.

I still love it, I think that you know that. Sigh, those boys. So many problems.

HI!!!

I think it probably got lost in the madness of Narnia due to the PC rush. But now that the film has been out a while [and sadly didn't do as well as hoped] the madness is dying down a bit.

Skandar's acting out and defo getting annoying. Needs to get it out of his system and get back on track. I'm glad you're still going to read! This kinda reminds me of a moment in your epic where I felt torn by Victoria's presence [the shocking relationship] and then actually coming to love her, and then her equally shocking departure. Reminds me in the sense that sometimes as authors you do things you know won't be popular, but you know have to do them. So I'm really glad you're still sticking on. Thank you! Also, I don't know if you realize, but you're the third highest commenter in my journal. And you're closing in on the top two spots. Random, but I just noticed it yesterday when I was messing around with LJ stats. http://suborbital.livejournal.com/36402.html
