I am in the middle of watching Westworld (thank you Netflix), and early in the movie they make the statement that the resort costs $1,000 a day. That got me thinking... I think I have the flu. I have been sick since last night. So bad that I called in this morning. I am starting to think I may have to tomorrow as well. I was in bed for 13 hours last night, but I could barely sleep, and today I just feel exhausted.

Well, I bought new hair today. I am not sure if I like it though. It is significantly longer, and while longer is what I wanted, I think it is making my face look more angular. It was only $40, so at least it did not cost me much if I decide to not wear it after all. It take some getting used to, having hair this long again. I am not used to it ( Read more... )

Saturday I went out to dinner with Blair, a woman I met online. We had Thai, which was yummy, and came back to my apartment afterward to hang out. She stayed longer than she had originally intended, which I take as a good sign. I like her. A few weeks ago I watched my step-father frying up the shrimp we had for dinner later that night, and I started thinking that I could do that.
