Sign-ups and Theme for Round Six
It's time to sign up for the sixth round of subrosa_tennis! This round is devoted to fics of at least 2500 words, with no maximum length. The theme contest returns this round: for this round's themes, click here. Remember, you don't need to use the themes to participate in subrosa_tennis! This round, authors are allowed to submit one solo work and up to two collaborative works. There is no collaboration division; authors intending to collaborate should sign up as individuals and submit jointly. Any collaborative fics will be posted with the IDs of both authors.

How to sign up
Step 1: Writers interested in submitting for the single-author challenge sign up by commenting to this post by Jan 31, 2009, 11:59 PM PST. Leave the following information in the comments:

Yes, you may start writing as soon as you sign up. ^_^ We encourage you to start now, before school/midterms/everything decides to eat you whole and spit you out.
Step 2: Those who sign-up will be emailed with a unique ID. Submissions should be emailed to subrosa_tennis@yahoo.com by March 31, 2009, 11:59 PM PST. Please use the following format:

In the body of your email, please include the following:

Attach your fic as an RTF (preferred), DOC, or TXT file with the same formatting. If your fic exceeds 10,000 words (or the LiveJournal post word limit), please indicate chapter divisions so that we can post your fic in proper installments. (For example, feel free to send three separate attachments for a three-chapter fic.)
Please also include HTML tags for any formatted text in your fic (e.g. and for italics, and for bold, and for underlined). Mods will post fics as-is and will not format the fics besides conforming to the above format.
Step 3: Fics will be posted through ghost_racket on or before April 15, 2009, 11:59 PM PST. The members of the community will also be supplied with a list of all the authors that wrote for the challenge and their writing archives, in the interest of facilitating the guessing game.
Step 4: Guessers will post their guesses in an entry with screened comments. Writers are allowed to guess for all fics that are not their own. The guessing deadline is May 1, 2009, 11:59 PM PST). The game results (members with the highest percentage of correct guesses), will be revealed as soon as possible within 2 weeks after the reveal (this means by May 15, 2009, 11:59 PM PST).

- Authors are allowed to submit one solo work and up to two collaborative works.
- All fics must be for the Prince of Tennis fandom; crossovers and AUs are allowed as long as the writing features Prince of Tennis characters. Anime/manga canon only; sorry, we are not including Tenimyu, games, or live-action movies in this round.
- Fics must be at least 2500 words; there is no maximum fic length.
- There are no restrictions on genre, rating or pairing.
- Writers may choose to write in their usual style or disguise it as they wish.
