nope, kyuhyun is certainly not in a river in egypt orz sorry i could not resist

i prefer to think of it as a mental block. i think that right after sungmin died, kyuhyun believed himself partly (or even wholly) responsible, since the fight was what got a distracted sungmin walking into traffic. the guilt triggered a defense mechanism where his brain simply blocked all of his attempts to make the crucial connection between what he remembered and the final, essential piece that would give him the complete story (and even closure). so instead, he's now stuck in a limbo of sorts, trying again and again to piece everything together. but the moment he gets close to the conclusion, the block kicks in and resets his efforts.

rofl i didn't mean to write so much, but i guess it could be seen as denial (even though i wouldn't quite define it as that). i hope all that clarified some things though!

at first I was confused and kyu a bit irritates me coz he keeps on forget on everything but in the ending is so unexpected and I almost tear up T____T

Oh ow ow ow. Okay so I picked it up a bit early and was 99% sure by the time he remembered "tomorrow" but I firmly stuck myself in a river in egypt until the end :(
