I Saw Her Standing There Chapter 9/10

Almost at the end!

A/N: Ringo re-appears. A very Dark/Drunk version of him, though. Very much an Angry drunk this time around. Think it'd be well in the realm of possibilities for him.

Don't own. No harm meant.

Head and heart still reeling from the visit to Maureen... )

It's interesting to see Nell being supportive of Alice, willing to listen to her without judgement or jealousy at the forefront of their interactions. For the first time in Alice's story I actually feel that Nell's being their for her is genuine and comes without any stipulations which is a relief ( ... )

It was important to me to show that Nell does have a good side and fix what was on the verge of breaking completely. She cares deeply for Alice even if she hasn't shown it much since the letter came- but Alice got evasive too-. Nell became more antagonistic than originally intended with the first couple of chapters, but she does care and knows when something is wrong but this is the first time she knows what exactly. You are right, Alice has been very afraid of being deemed unlovable. Sharing all of this with and explaining things to Nell puts them back on a more level playing field. Alice knew more of Nell's past than Nell of her's. So they can now rebuild themselves. I'm glad I showed that there is hope for them ( ... )

Right. Well, for all my popping off about this story I did NOT see that coming. At all. For some reason unbeknownst to me I just figured Ringo remained drunk and in the dark regarding what was going on between these two ( ... )

LOL, between you and Jay... I want to kick my fave Beatle's ass, and want to inflict violence upon a character that only exists in words!

Gawd. Find me a straightjacket!!!!!
