i think you should make a list, its a good thing to do. the way i started was because i heard that someone famous, i forget whom, wrote one once and managed to live so long because he wanted to accomplish everything on that list. and in the end all the silly little random things you want to do have some kind of motivation behind them if they are written down.

i applaud your escalator running. its nice to know that i'm not the only one with that urge. :P
