I was reading about Tom Brokaw. He talks about how his big break was covering Ronald Reagan for NBC News. prior to that he worked for an Atlanta tv station doing news on the 11 o'clock newcast for WSB.

I think he chose a good time to retire from NBC. quite an interesting guy.
