Oh man - poor you! My mother once had a kidney stone, and she told me how badly that hurts. I hope you'll be okay! *hugs*

I am glad that you are feeling better.Kidney stones are the worst! I had a kidney stone when I was 7 months pregnant. Needless to say when you are that pregnant and in extreme pain they rush you to the hospital and they immediately start to monitor the baby. The result was that the doctor said the baby is fine (while I was writhing in agony) and luckily they put me on an IV and I passed the stone in about 8 hours. It was very scary at the time though. I must admit I can't compare it to child birth because I never went into full labour as my daughter was too large. I ended up having a c-section after being in partial labour for 31 hours. The only pain that I have experienced that was comparable was when I had a knee operation.

Kidney stone pain is BAD. Glad to hear that you're feeling so much better.

Any chance you're taking a large daily dose of calcium or something that can contribute to stones?
