My glorious Saturday was interrupted by a trip to Emergency. Going about my usual business (shopping), I came over dizzy. I managed to collect myself and make it home, but soon after I was throwing up and writhing around on the bed in unbelievable discomfort

Yikes, Steph. That sounds awful. I'm glad it was over quickly. I just googled kidney stones and saw a photo and it is all jagged and crystally. I thought they were smooth. No wonder they hurt so much - it's liked small razors.

A friend of mine had a kidney stone a few years back and her description pretty much matched yours.

had a trip to Emergency myself recently.. so not a fun way to spend time. I swear those beds are made that way to make you want to go home sooner rather than later. LOL!
