I made it through Wilma alright. I stayed with Lauren and her family, so I was all shuttered up. We had a giant window in my parents house that blew through, and a lot of damage to the streets and such, but we are all alive and healthy. I never realized how lucky I was until I hit bottom. I am back in Florida for now. Have to get my GED, and then Orlando for school in January. I miss Joey. And Mika and Hunter and Preston and Nebo. I have been thrown out of my house, and I am currently a nomad. I leave on the 7th for Arkansas, where I will rent an apartment with my Joey. My dad is leaving Africa tomorrow morning. Or tonight. I am not sure. He is leaving his staff and going to Israel. My grandmother is dying. I don't know if he will make it in time.

It almost feels as if everyone else in my life is accelerating in pace, and I am fighting to keep up - and all I can do is just stare.
