what a freaking historic night.  i voted for obama, but i'm not a huuuuuuge fan or anything.  but i wanted to cry during his speech.  even during mccain's speech, i wanted to cry.  our country has come so far.  i don't think anyone should have voted based on race, but i'm hoping obama was elected DESPITE his race.  i'm hoping america is moving

Well at the same time, I distinctly remember many Obama fans BEFORE the election saying that if their candidate did not win, that THEY would be leaving the country.

obama's policies are more similar to those of europe and canada, so i'd understand if obama supporters wanted to go there. that's what i meant by it being ironic for conservatives wanting to go to those places. but that would piss me off too if obama supporters were saying they were leaving the country. like i said, i'm not a huge obama fan. i'm not really a fan of either of them. but even if mccain won, i would hate it if obama supporters were acting the way mccain supporters are acting right now. it doesn't matter who was elected, people still need to work together to fix the bad things in our country.
