So yeah in the space of a single day fall/winter has finally arrived in the sunny bay area. We had a delightfully overcast day with a good breeze (some rain :P )and even a single bolt of lightning. That was pretty cool. But it would have made a *perfect* Halloween. Still pretty temperate and just the right amount of gloomy

I still remember visiting a buddy in the bay.. actually I believe it was not long after the first time I ever visited you, remember that? It was "raining" and by that i mean it was that bizarre misty crap that you guys get.. and the lady on the radio said something like: "it's really coming down out there, drive carefully ok? We don't want anybody getting hurt". I was honestly dumbstruck for a moment.

What you have to remember is we don't get *any* rain for like 8-9 months. And with the weird microclimates we ger around here - it can be pouring like Noah's Flood in one place and 10 minutes away bright and sunny. So it may have been where the radio station was.

That and nobody remembers that wet roads = slippery.
