I should warn everybody to don't bother reading on unless you really care, because it's pretty dark and depressing...but at least it explains why I haven't been writing much here lately. ( Read more... )

All I can say is you are not alone. Not in your situation, not in your emotions, not financially. That doesn't make it better, but maybe bearable?

I feel you. Not to the extent that you're feeling it, but I feel you. I'd like to say that it'll get better, but no one knows that, you know? I hope, for everyone's sake, that this recession/depression ends soon and maybe we can start to get our lives back together ( ... )

Dear Sue,
I first ran across your writings on a forum about fifteen years ago, and thought... is that the same Sue who writes Star Wars stories? I (still) know you only by reputation, but to make a long story short, I had a crush on you.
That was many years ago, and I'm happily married now, but that doesn't change who you are -- an intelligent, strong, capable woman who is worthy of friendship and love. You will find it.
It took me six years to dig myself out of debt, but once I did I refused to get into it again, and I've been living debt-free for almost a decade. If I can do it, so can you.
