i have done in home day care for about 20 years, i have put in my notice and turned up the hot water heater. per county rules the water temp has to be 124 degrees. i have never been able to get the temp right, so we have lived with water in the 117 range. never enough water for a bath or long shower. i have turned up the heat, its so exciting ( Read more... )

we are moving in about 2 months. we have listed our 1973 vw superbeetle on ebay. lots of my friends have also bought all of the furniture. except for a couple of things that i dearly love. i never thought i could part with all this, but have really decided that i will just start over. i think its time for things to be simpler ( Read more... )

i just got back from voting, some old man in front of me was going on about obama, do you know his middle name???? hes muslim????? he was republican, voting democrat, for hilary. what a nasty old fart.

dante, we skipped last weenend because we had taken him up to the new baby jail during the week. hes living in a "cottage", not a cute cottage, a big brick building with 7 or 8 other kids. the doors are not locked, so its like being on an honor system. one kid ran away. after 30 days dante gets to participate in activities they have, swimming, ( Read more... )

we're off this morning for my grandson, dante's, transfer. from the linda martin attention center, close to where we live to canton, to the rtc. he will be there for 6 months for intensive counseling. hope its just not more lock up time. all this because 38 years ago there was that cute little guy walking down the board walk in jersey.

while cleaning my room today, i decided to pack up some of the stuff, i have alot of stuff. rolled up the area rug and put away alot. i will see how i like living with less stuff. i hope that will make our move in may much easier. while going thru stuff, i found a bag of remotes, from old tvs, vcrs, etc. about 7 or eight, who knows how many ( Read more... )
