hehe. glad you liked my term! i'll let you use it! :) wow, that's so great! this july 2nd date is the only one i remember...i don't know what the date of my biopsy was or definitive diagnosis, but since i was out doing something unique for work, it sticks in my mind. yay for 5 years!!
the only date i really remember is May 10th. It was my last day of chemo and two days after i graduated college. Plus, all kinds of stuff seems to happen that day. I graduated law school the same day only 4 years later. :)
i can't believe it's been five years. that's crazy.
don't allow yourself to feel too guilty. it's okay to be sad for those that weren't as fortunate as you, but the fact that you're alive and they are not... that's just how life is. i'm thankful that you're still on this earth, and not merely existing but positively thriving. i don't say enough how awesome you are.
i still can't believe all that happened, too. you're such a champ. i also think you were a little nuts to still always go out drinking and all that with me all the time, too. nuts, but incredibly freaking awesome at the same time. :D
yeah! i felt pretty good for the most part during the off-weeks so what the heck! i couldn't sit at home and knit all the time, right?? i am glad you were there to go out with!
thank you! Yeah, I plan to do that again someday once I grow mine out long enough to donate...at least I know what short hair looks like on me now! hehe
