Low level angst is always a plus.

This was a nice start. Kara nervous to meet Zak's family, particularly Lee. Very her.

I'd like to see what happens when they finally meet.

Low level angst is always a plus.

I mostly tend to come up with angsty story ideas when it comes to Lee & Kara, but it's easier with pre-mini stories because they have far less baggage!

Glad you liked the start, Lee will turn up in chapter two.

Great start! I love how Kara is so nervous about meeting Zak's family--especially Lee. And the vision of Lee cooking brought a smile to me face (got to love a man who can cook)! Looking forward to the next part!

You certainly have got to love a man who can cook!
Fortunately my husband can :)

Oh, what a fabulous start! And I'm such a sucker for background history fiction for Lee and Kara, I love to speculate how they met first :D

I love how you show us so much about Lee and Zak's relationship, how they grew up as brothers, by Kara's look into Lee's room. And I love the little detail that Caroline Adama is such a bad cook - I've read a lot of fiction where she's the perfect housewife and this is a really nice variation :)

I'm really looking forward to read more :)

Glad you liked it.

I read somewhere Lee is supposed to like cooking, so I thought maybe his mum is a bad cook - and I get a lot of jokes out of her being a bad cook in this story! Like you I've read a lot of stories where Caroline is houseproud and uptight, so my version is a bit different...she's more relaxed and even likes pyramid!

Hi! I can't sleep so I'm up early and decided to read as much of your stuff as I can ;) I'll try not to spam you with comments, but I make no promised. I am a comment fanatic when I have the time.

I love pre-mini stories and this one so far is great. I am so very curious about Caroline Adama and often wonder what she thought of Kara.

Hope you enjoy the reading. I love comments so feel free to leave as many as you like!!

I love pre-mini stories too, so I just had to try writing one. Although I know there is an episode coming up in which we find out more about Caroline which will no doubt turn all this on it's head... :)
