Bill Adama sat at the desk in his quarters.  He’d been working there for the last twenty-four hours, ever since he triggered the three communication devices he’d given to three of the colonists when they went down to the planet.

They’d all thought he was fussing unnecessarily, but now he was glad he’d insisted they take them.  Turned

Another excellent part! Kara as XO is very interesting. I'm interested to see exactly what happened to Lee. I also can't wait to see Lee with Bill. I hope Kara is able to help him--I know there's a specific reason Roslin requested her, I just don't know what it is. Does Lee think she's dead? I cannot wait to read part 3! Great job again!

Just posted chapter 3 which will answer a few questions but not all - well, I have to spin out the revelations about what exactly happened to Lee and why he's like this for a while.

Glad you like Kara as XO - though I don't think Tigh's going to be so happy :-)

Oh, you're reading this one. The really gloomy angst-ridden one. Although the show's New Caprica actually turned out to be much nastier than my New Caprica in the end.

I usually don't post stories till I've finished writing them. Otherwise I'd feel under too much pressure to produce the next chapter within a certain time!
