I do feel bad for her having to face Lee and Dee every day on the Pegasus though ... that will be difficult I imagine. And I look forward to how you're going to write it.
Definitely enjoying this story so far ... not that I like to see Kara kicked down (we see enough of that on the show already) but I like that she's getting a dose of realism here and hopefully it will point her in the right direction. :)

You're right of course, she does need a reality check...all this time she's been thinking about how she's prepared to settle for content with Sam and never stopped to think whether he was prepared to do the same.
I still feel sorry for her, though.

Don't apologise, you're entitled to your opinion and I completely understand where you're coming from! I've spent a lot of time looking from Kara's POV writing this so am probably feeling more sympathetic than usual to her at the moment :)
And yeah, this whole chapter is complete set-up. I had to find some way to force Kara and Lee back into each other's company since neither of them were going to go there willingly!
