I can't blame Lee for pushing Kara away. It does seem that she uses him to fall back on. I can't wait to see what she does to convince him otherwise.

Good ol' Helo. I love how he's always there to push our heros in the right direction. =)

very nice. i'm loving the pacing of the story and i can see helo's dimples peeking out as he smiles at kara at the end of this chapter!

Another great chapter! I understand Lee's reaction however I'd love to smack him for not taking advantage of the kiss! I love Helo! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more.

Don't smack poor Lee! LOL! In his defence, the last time Kara kissed him unexpectedly in this story universe he got his heart broken. He's not going to risk it with her again that easily, not unless Kara gives him a good reason...

I'm gonna grab my superglue and duct tape and see if I can't put my pilots back together..

Another wonderful part! You have such awesome insight into Lee and Kara and their relationship. I wish that this was the story I was seeing on my screen!

Aww, Helo. I just adore him in this. HIs calmness, the way he can talk to Kara, how he really knows what's going on. I'm glad that he was able to get trhough to her.

But now she has to get through to Lee--not going to be easy. I can't wait to see what "spectacular" thing she does to reach him!

Can't wait for part 9!

Yes, there's no one more awkward than Lee when he's being stubborn and doesn't want to listen :)

I'm glad you think her confiding in Helo is plausible, I wasn't sure it was, but she needed someone to point out a few things to her, and Helo seemed the obvious candidate.
