A few days later, Kara told Lee she was going to Colonial One.

“I’m taking the President some reports from your father.  He’s swamped at the moment.”

It was true, although she didn’t say that she had offered to go.  She had another reason to visit Colonial One.

Sam.  She needed to talk to him.  Should have done so a long time

No, he didn't. Obviously some things are too deeply engrained even for amnesia to remove :)

OH! And BOOM! Just like that the instinctual reactions fall right into place. Loved this chapter...cause now it's all out in the open and can be dealt with.

Also...I truly like the way you've written Sam and Dee. To me, neither comes across as anything but human. I like that in fics. *grins*
