Once the meeting broke up, Kara was surrounded by a swarm of people, asking questions about the plan or for news of friends and family who were still with the fleet.  It was some time before she was able to tear herself away and by then the man she was after had disappeared out of the cavern.

She headed out into the passage and saw

Wow, poor Lee! Seeing Dee die in front of him, unable to do anything--hurt himself--would definitely drive him into himself. I can see him hurting himself to get to her. This line said it best--Lee, who always felt he had to look after everyone else. To be put into a situation where he couldn’t look after everyone, where whichever way he chose someone he cared for would suffer

Oh my GODS! I finally get a chance to read this and DANG! I wish I had read it this morning, it was THAT good. Poor Lee. Like DAAAAAAAAAAMN! Stupid Cylons.

I liked this line:

Gaeta didn’t know Lee like she did. No-one did.
How true is that? I think that Kara really is the one who knows Lee the best in our little BSG-verse. Better than even papadama.

Im looking foward to more interaction between Lee and Kara- with her pushing and him retreating. It'd be such a twist to the normal 'idea' of what Lee and Kara do, with HIM pushing and HER retreating.

Things are looking quite grim :( But it is still fun to see Racetrack and Gaeta. I miss Racetrack. What happened to our girl in S3?

*pauses for another breath* Oh...wow. Absolutely frakked up situation for Lee. But I completely buy that he would indeed retreat into himself because of it.

Can't wait to see what Kara's idea of giving Lee a push is.
