Thanks so much, particularly for the comment about writing their season four selves - it is difficult for Kara especially. She has changed, but her on screen characterisation has been so up and down it's hard to know how.

And yes, i haven't forgotten Lee used to be a pilot! :)

This was a lovely story - I would have loved to have seen a scene like this on the show. How could Kara pass up teasing Lee about his 'real' name?

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Reminds me of the old days when our pilots used to be so care free so to speak. They haven't forgotten their responsibilities but it is good to seem them laugh a little. Lately I have seen more Lee/Kara moments from fics then the show and I so glad to the authors of those it keeps me sane, like this. Thank you for making my morning. Great story

Yay! It's nice seeing a fic from you, and what a nice little piece it is, too. I loved it; of course, Kara would tease poor Leland to death (though to be fair, the name doesn't bug me as much as it does some. But then, I'm not a native speaker, so that may be why).

Thanks, it's good to write again. I haven't been in the BSG mood much lately, but finally something in an episode sparked an idea.

I don't know why I find Leland so funny. Probably because it's an odd name and to me it sounds a little pretentious. Plus I realised after writing this that I'm associating it with British Leyland, which is a lorry transport company. So yes definitely a cultural thing. :)
