So that was my first BSG story. Lee's already dead, and Kara spends most of the story unconscious and then dies...things could only improve for them in my fic from there, couldn't they?
brilliant! a new favourtie for me. this is an amazing work of art. even with the angst and sadness there's a softness or subtle joy in the fact that no one really forgot about lee even if it wasn;t outwardly acknowledged. fantastic job! :D

I'm not really into angst but it's going to be on the top of my favorite fanfics. That's how much I loved it.
awww...there was soo many elements I loved in this story....
1. Grandpa Helo and his lollipops... 2. the fact that papa adama married the president... 3. that Starbuck managed to have all the guys...lolz... first Zak, then Sam, then Lee and then Helo...all the hot guys of BSG... 4. the non verbal mention/hint of Sharon 5. ‘Starbuck and Apollo, together again.’ *sighz*
Oh this made me cry, how beautiful. I love how you painted Kara and her long-buried love of Lee, but was gratified that you gave her Helo in the end. This is exactly how it could have happened and the granddaughter Laura was the perfect PoV. I love stories that make you think rather than laying it all out in black and white, and this was perfect. Thanks.

This story is particularly angsty I'm afraid - most of my stories contain angst but I usually provide a happy ending.
