My back was really bothering me to the point of almost debilitating me. I hadn't had a good night's sleep due to the pain in 3 weeks and you could tell.
On Thursday, I figured "enough is enough" and booked myself an appointment for acupuncture at a place that a dear friend of mine recommended. The appointment was on Saturday. ( Read more... )
Apparently, Jon and I may have been suffering from lead poisoning ever since we moved into our house. All the window frames and door frames have a layer of lead paint underneath the top layer of non-lead paint. Every time we opened a window, the resulting scraping would create some lead dust.... which we inhale as the wind blows it into the house

Hope, the dog trainer came by for a consultation last night. She's a really sweet lady who likely spends A LOT of time with dogs. Everytime I said something that I did right, she would respond with a "GOOD GIRL!". As the consultation progressed and more "Good Girl" was reaped on me, I could see Jon pull back further and further. :P

As of tomorrow, we would've had Stella for 3 weeks. It has definitely been (and I assume will continue to be) a learning experience for Jon and I.
Our love for her continues to grow and I'm beginning to see how some people can become really attached to their pets. I never had a pet growing up, so this has been all new to me. ( Read more... )
