I was eating my lunch at work, and my coworker (who's black) came up and took my ipod to check it out. He turned it on and then promptly went "OMG!" I asked him what was wrong and told him that I have many cheesy songs there. He replied, "you were playing RICKY MARTIN!"
Hahaha. It turns out that I was playing the 1998 World Cup song.
So Lynn told me about a 35% sale at Kate Spade yesterday. I searched through the website, but most unfortunately, the one that I really liked was not on sale. Tell me what you think of this -
Okay, I managed to find one book on Ebay for $57.75 (including shipping) which I originally paid $148.75 for and the other book for $50.88 which cost $113.50 at the bookstore. Yay! Gosh, I didn't know the price difference would be so great. It annoys me that bookstores/publishing firms/authors make so much from students.
I can't believe that I've spent $413 on books this semester so far. Good gawd. I am going to try to scout on half.com or Amazon to see if I can find better deals.
