I am ill. Wednesday, it was a big nasty headache. Yesterday, it was the apparent onset of a cold virus, with the added loveliness of some abdominal difficulties. I feel like I was kicked repeatedly in the guts, with a few knocks to the head for good measure. Hot baths and hot water bottles are my constant companions. I went to a party on a subway, and talked to at least a dozen strangers. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but kind of neat nonetheless.
