I love days that are like math problems.

He is so nice to me. I tried not to, but I lost a few tears to my cheeks after sushi tonight. I don't know what I did to deserve someone so great in my life, but I sure am thankful. I hate that I have to leave soon. Again.

I want to tell myself to stop reaching out, but it is so much harder to actually do.

Things change so quickly.

When I think about the things I will just walk away from in a few short weeks, it makes me want to crumble. Mostly, I try not to think about it. Sometimes I can't help it. I remind myself how lucky I am. In many ways, this will be one of the more difficult things I will do in my life. I wish it were easier.

...and I still have no idea where I'll be living come the 3rd week of August. Financial Aid, I hate you.

I tried a few bites of duck the other night. I hadn't really planned on it, but I wanted to try it and I figure, in my 30 years so far I've never been in a situation to try duck and there it was, so why not? So I guess I'm no longer a vegetarian any longer... Oh well ( Read more... )
