I'm coming home (to New York) Thursday through Sunday.

Ben Folds played at school yesterday and it was really fun. Other than that there's been a lot of bumming around. I really need to get started on work.

On tues and thursdays I observe a 3rd grade class. It was kinda upsetting b/c the adults are really mean to the kids. But yesterday the teacher had to go to the office for five min. so I got to teach the kids what a mean is. It was kinda awsome. Apparently I like ice dancing. Who knew. Well there are the hideous costumes and a move called a tizzle oh and it's like a "sport" for people who aren;t good enough to be figure skaters but I still had to watch.

A high of 70 degrees and a low of 24 is not okay. Especially when it drops alosmot that much in 5 min of rain and (apparently) tornado sirens. Why do people live here ( Read more... )

As other people have remarked, I love the olympics. I'm American and I probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else but sometimes I don't like this country very much. So we went to three bars last night. The first one was okay but it's also a resturant so the bar area was reallty small. Then we went to this place called Blueberry Hill. I bought my fisrt bottle of alcohol. For some reason I was kinda nervous but it was a little anit-climatic. Fisrt bar tomrrow night!! Woo!!

My granpa died yesterday. I don't really want to talk about it and don't feel the need to leave messages here.

Today was the first day of classes. It was kinda weird cuz I went to two psych of education classes because I was trying to decide which one to take. I decided on the more fun one because I need some fun. Plus that one lets you work with kids and I like kids (but not in a creepy way).
