This weekend was awsome though it didn't start out that way. I went to start my car to go to Chicago but it had died, again, after I had spent 545 dollars to fix it. Okay so toaday started out okay. I had my first day of work which was uneventful for the most part. Lots of pipeting. I'm really tired right now. Today really sucked. The bio test killed me. I think I got at least two questions completely wrong. Academic failure is not something I know how to deal with and I've been feeling like such a failure lately. I'm feeling much better today. I met with a researcher today, Justin Fay, and now I have a research job (it is still a job if you don't get paid?). He studies genetics and how gene regulation works and I think I get to manipulate DNA and grow yeast which is really cool.
