As a birthday present a pleasant surprise
For my birthday this year he gave me a key-chain I've always wanted ne. I don't remember when it was I told him I'd liked to have it. But, the sale season for that item had ended, and it wasn't being sold anymore. "I would have wanted to buy that naa~" I said, and SHIGE remembered that. Then, he found out where he could get it and gave it to me as a present yo! Amazing yo ne!
And then, on the other hand, the T-shirt I gave SHIGE on his birthday this year, he's always wearing it, and I'm happy about it yo ne! Thank you! Till now I've given him 2~3 T-shirts. The one I gave him this year is a raglan T-shirt [1]. In my opinion, perhaps that's SHIGE's fight clothes (laugh).
It's good that joke is in vogue ne (laugh)!
After that, just simply thank you for this year, don't you agree! Because the members are important ne! Within NEWS I've known SHIGE the longest naa. Since I was about 15 years old and SHIGE was 14 we were friendly, and at that time we would have never thought we'd end up in the same group naa.... . Thank you for being with me this year as well. Ah, and then! There's SHIGE's joke, "sonna no kankei ne~!"... (laugh). It's good it became in vogue this year ne (laugh)[2]. Let's make it that it was not Kojima Yoshio san who made that line fashionable within NEWS, but SHIGE (laugh).

I'll make my western-style dance clothes open to you!
I'll call SHIGE to my room, and have him look at a~ll my western-style dance clothes. Then, I'll have him take whatever he likes! In reality, they're all valuable, so I don't want him to take any. But, perhaps SHIGE doesn't need any (laugh).

Addicted to high socks [aka knee socks]!
Matching short pants and rolled up pants with high socks is my recent boom. I don't have any cute 5-fingered high socks. I'd like to find some fast na! [3]

[1] I didn't know which ones those were, so I'm thinking maybe other people don't know either. Here's a picture of a raglan-sleeve T-shirt (I forget where I got it ^^;).
[2] The line, "sonna no kankei ne~" -with the addition of, "oppappi-"- has become quite in vogue this year, thanks to the comedian Kojima Yoshio. It is actually in position #2 in Myojo's ranking for this year's catch-phrases (translation of ranking here. There's an entry I totally didn't expect!). It means, "that has nothing to do with it", whereas "oppappi-" was made up to be short for "Ocean Pacific Peace" (don't ask! it was made up to cover up a more obscene meaning it would have had XD). I watched one performance of this comedian in a show where Nakamaru kun and Tanaka kun were guests (along with other juniors and.... famous people ^^;). It was pretty hilarious, and Tanaka kun was literally ROTFLing !!!! Yeah, I actually posted that one! You can watch it here. ^^v Other Johnnys have been known to impersonate this comedian, and this gag in particular, namely Aiba chan and Toma kun (as Nakatsu in Hanakimi) ^^ you can find links in the same post I pointed out earlier.
