New World Mall food court in Flushing has recently opened for business. There is currently a Chowhound thread about it, which lists the various food stalls.

A recap:

• We went to Mexico for two whole days. Highlights include: Tulum  and the Xcaret Ecopark.  The dinner we had inside the ecopark (a buffet, no less) was the best dinner I've had in years. I'm on vacation.  Here's what I've been doing.

Monday: Yoga at Yoga to the People, lunch with woddly_spinning at Rheon Cafe (sat and read in cafe for some time after), walked a lot-wandered around Soho for several hours, did a little shopping (bought things at Uniqlo and Anthropologie, wandered around TopShop quite a bit), went to Black Sheep Pub ( Read more... )

The practice of judging people by the covers of their books is old and time-honored. And the Kindle, which looks kind of like a giant white calculator, is the technology equivalent of a plain brown wrapper. We will miss you so much.  You were the best dog ever. Thank you for all the time you spent with us. We didn't deserve you.  

We spent many days in San Francisco---it was the vacation of " a little too late" (we arrived in Napa minutes after all the wineries closed, showed up at the California Academy of Sciences after most of the exhibits were sold out, approached the DeYoung museum an hour after it closed, and could not get a room at the Wilbur Hot Springs because we ( Read more... )
