I attended my first "big" concert today here in the FC...got to see Jim Brickman live at the Lincoln Center this afternoon. If you ever get the chance to see him live, I would soo recommend it! He is such an amazing performer!

So tonight I'm both packing for my trip home to Hilo and decided it might be a good idea to update my journal. Yes, friends. I made it through my first semester of graduate school. suck whether you're a grad student or undergrad. My life would be so much better without papers, 80 question multiple choice questions, and take home exams. Bleh!

This morning, I got woken up by my friend Keith at 9 am. He wanted me to peek outside for a second. When I did, I was greeted by a layer of pristine white SNOW!!! How awesome is that??? Hope all of you out there in livejournal land had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanks to lj_rivkah_mouse and her family, I was able to be with a family for one of my favorite holidays of the year. Just got back after five fabulous days in Las Vegas, Nevada. Got to see two of my dear friends from undergrad at UH Hilo and get to know members of my cohort better. More later...it's bloody early in the morning and it took us 12 hours to drive back.
